Teacher’s Highland Cream

Teacher’s Highland Cream is a distinctive blended Scotch whisky with a style and flavour worth discovering. A quality blend, Teacher’s has a full flavour uncontested by any other Scotch whisky – it truly is in a class of its own.
While all blends are made with both malt and grain whiskies, Teacher’s Highland Cream is unique, using an exceptionally high amount of malt whisky, over 45%, to give it a richer, full bodied flavour.
Teacher’s contains over 30 malts, however it is the fingerprint malt whisky from Ardmore Highland Distillery which is key to the blend. Ardmore malt enhances and compliments the individual styles of each of the malts, creating the unmistakable Teacher’s nose and a taste of robust maltiness and Highland peat smoke.
The Ardmore Highland Distillery, the only remaining highland distillery that still fully peats its standard malt, has been at the heart of the Teacher’s blend ever since it was built by the Teacher family in 1898. The master blender ensures that the malts that make up Teacher’s are balanced to deliver the same great taste that William Teacher created over 175 years ago.
available in 70cl and 1L formats from all good grocery stores RRP £13.49 for 70cl and £18.99 for 1L.
Nose               Oily, Fudge-like.
Palate             Big, rounded, smooth. Full of crunchy maltiness. To drink this whisky is like biting into peanut brittle. Then toffee. Then liquorice flavours.
Finish              Rooty, oaky, smoky, these dry flavours providing a perfect balance.
Comment       Malty, even creamy, but never cloying. Big and sustaining. The whisky world's answer to Kendal Mint Cake.
